The powder was not satisfactory as a laxative, so I sent it to my sister who has celiac and I expect that it would be great for baking.
The whole is what works for me as a laxative, I like it a lot! Now that I know which works for me I will be reordering the whole every time.
The nomenclature is confusing. Early on I had ordered (from a competitor) whole seeds, which indeed were whole seeds and I had to grind them in a coffee mill which was just too much work. Anyway what ever the reason there should be more explanation because to me this whole is not whole but rather a medium grind or some such.
But I do like the product a great deal. It does not thicken too fast and produces enough volume to produce a good stool.
