Qualities & Properties: alterative, antibacterial, antiseptic, astringent, carminative, disinfectant, diuretic, expectorant, hemostatic, refrigerant, sedative, stimulant.

Warning: Contraindicated in diseases invloving the parenchyma of the kidney; not for use beyond six weeks without consultation with a physician.
