Description:Popular ingredient in tropical medicinal preparations, and used for a few pharmaceutical products such as cough syrup. Very nice for scenting soaps, detergents and body care, it is also used to flavor alcohol and soft drinks.

Scent Characteristics: Rich, sweet, balsamic "vanilla-like" scent.

Distillation Method: High vacuum, dry distillation.

Common Uses: Flavoring and Scent

Qualities & Properties: Anti-inflammitory, atiseptic, balsamic, expectorant, parasiticide, stimulant; promotes the growth of epithelial cells.

Warning: Skin irritant, dilute well.
