Author: Jeremy SteinThis ginseng is weak and subtle. I don't notice much of an effect from it in any direction. It's probably more suitable for daily intake than the red variety. Nevertheless I was looking for ginseng that would provide me with the greatest boost in mental alertness. This ginseng certainly does nothing for that, even in 4 gram amounts.
The red variety is far more stimulating, and in my opinion, more useful as a pharmacological agent.
