Common Names: American senna, locust plant, wild senna

Common Uses: Its action being chiefly on the lower bowel.. It increases the peristaltic movements of the colon by its local action upon the intestinal wall.

Qualities & Properties: Purgative.

Warning: Not to be used during pregnancy. Not to be used while nursing. Do not use this product if you have abdominal pain or diarrhea. Consult a health care provider prior to use if you are pregnant or nursing. Discontinue use in the event of diarrhea or watery stool.
