Not used it long enough to tell

I like the quality of the product - fresh and active, felt alive . . . and the ordering process was easy, prompt shipment and have been gradually feeding a metered amount to my two small dogs to prevent/dissolve tooth plaque. Their teeth do look better but it has only been a short while. Will let you know if it works even more.

suggestions on how to ingest this kelp? and in what quantity?
Question by: TLS on August 14, 2014
How to ingest the Kelp, and in what quantity, is up to you and depends on your taste for the item as well as your reasons for consuming it. Common ways to consume Kelp are via capsule (if you do not care for the taste); sprinkled on your food; and mixed in a shake/juice with other items.

Do you do anything to assure that there are no heavy metals or contaminates from the sea in your kelp powder?
Question by: theresa on April 23, 2014
We thoroughly test all of our products in a variety of ways in our in-house lab, including for heavy metals. However, almost all (if not all) natural products have some level of heavy metals, including Kelp. We have strict standards for what we allow, based on years of testing our products, and those standards are set on a per-product basis (ie: in addition to looking at it from the perspective of what a safe level is, we also view the amounts in relation to what is normal/acceptable for that particular item).

It is harvested in the North Atlantic Ocean.

How much iodine per serving and what is a serving?
Question by: Brandy on July 01, 2014
Kelp has about 700 ppm (Part Per Million) of Iodine on average, which translate to 0.07% Iodine, though it does vary quite a bit from lot to lot (typically within the range of 600-1100ppm, which would mean 0.06-0.11%).
