I'm new to the wheatgrass scene but I was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer and a friend advised me to start on it ASAP. I had heard it was bitter, but I find that it's very tasty - kind of grassy tea. I certainly hopes it helps.

Compare with the wheatgrass I purchased from other companies, this powder is more raw. I can even see the small pieces of grass. I am not sure if it is good or not....any suggestions?

I received my product and it was great but beware that if shipping to Canada the customs fee was almost a 45% mark up on what I thought I was paying. No longer a less expensive alternative.

Is this powder from dried juice or from the plant ground up as a whole?

Our wheat grass powder is made from the dehydrated grass, not a dried juice.

Are the quality controls any different for wheat grass produced in China as compared to that produced in the U.S.? Why does the picture of 'organic wheat grass powder' look so much lighter in color as compared to the picture of 'organic wheat grass powder (US)'?

On the production side, the quality controls are similar in that both are certified organic and therefore inspected yearly by a third-party certifying agency at each step of production (in addition to having their own quality controls, of course). In terms of our in-house quality control, that's the same - we test both for product identity, for heavy metals, for pathogens, organoleptic properties, etc.

The color difference is based on growing conditions/climates and processing. Both vary in color a bit, and the images on our site probably show the difference at the extreme.
