Description:One of the most powerful relaxants in aromatherapy, this oil is very useful for anxiety, stress, tension and muscle spasms. Although sharing similar properties with Sage, Clary Sage is considered safer due to lower levels of the chemical thujone. Clary Sage is also an excellent choice for wrinkle treatments as well as back or muscle pain.

Scent Characteristics: Sweet, nutty, slightly musky scent ideal for blending.

Distillation Method: Steam distillation from foliage and the flowering top of the plant.

Common Uses: Flavoring, Scent, Aromatherapy
