For over 50 years, Starwest Botanicals has been committed to providing the highest quality products at the best possible value. Our portfolio includes more than 1,700 herbs, botanicals, teas, and spices sourced from 35 countries worldwide.

Due to recent tariff changes, we are experiencing significant cost increases and market distortions. Many of our organic products are not commercially grown in the U.S. In many cases, like black pepper, allspice, and cardamom, they simply cannot grow in North America. This means tariffs will not create a new domestic supply.

Additionally, existing tariffs and the threat of potential future tariffs are causing customers to shift souring decisions and their country of origin. As a result, demand is increasing in countries that may not be affected by the current U.S. tariff structure. This new demand is leading to inflation and price increases.

To continue delivering the quality and service you expect, we must make a necessary adjustment to our pricing. We have worked hard to minimize the impact of the tariffs and market distortions. However, this adjustment is essential to maintaining our commitment to excellence and ensuring we can continue to serve you effectively.
