Back in 1975, Starwest began as a small herb shop in Sacramento, California. Our goal was simple: to make high-quality botanicals more accessible and share this way of living with the people around us.

From that humble beginning, we grew. We began milling our own herbs, sourcing directly from around the world, and building deep relationships with farmers and suppliers. We were early pioneers in the organic herb movement, and our passion for quality, transparency, and community has guided us ever since.

Nearly 50 years later, we are proud to be one of the largest suppliers of organic botanicals in the country. But more importantly, we are still just as rooted in our purpose: to share the beauty, balance, and benefits of nature with you.
