Chaga Mushrooms
Chaga, also known as Inonotus obliquus, Black Mass, and Cinder Conk, is a fungus that grows on the bark of birch trees in cold areas such as Siberia, Northern Europe, Russia, Northern Canada, and Alaska. Chaga produces a large woody growth (conk), which looks similar to burnt charcoal. Yet despite its tough exterior, Chaga has a soft inside with a vibrant orange color.
Chaga has a mild, earthy taste that can be enjoyed in teas or coffee drinks.
