Evening Primrose Oil

Evening Primrose Oil is a pure oil produced by cold press from the seed of Oenothera biennis, and then refined. Evening Primrose Seeds have very high levels of the essential fatty acid "gamma-linolenic acid" (GLA), also known as "Omega-6", which is crucial for maintaining a joint's cell structure and function. Our high quality Evening Primrose Oil contains 10% gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), and has a range of therapeutic properties. The oil is primarily used as an ingredient in skin care products. Refined Evening Primrose Oil typically has a mild odor and taste, and is good for medium heat uses.

Ingredients:
Evening Primrose Oil: Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera biennis) 10% GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid), Refined.

Organic, Evening Primrose Oil: Organic Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera biennis) 10% GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid), Refined.

Packaging: To preserve and maintain their beneficial properties for years, our 4 oz and 16 oz Vegetable Oils are packaged in light resistant, dark glass amber bottles with a pressure sealed lid and a taper seal poly liner. This elegant bottle is the perfect way to protect light-sensitive liquids, because the dark amber glass helps prevent light degradation. The 1 gallon sizes are packaged in a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) jug, with a tight-fitting plastic lid to help protect contents from moisture and air. Our 5 gallon Vegetable Oils are packaged in a cube container with a spigot and handle.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, and avoid direct sunlight and heat. Preserving Oils: If stored improperly for long periods of time, the oils may become rancid. They have a minimum 2 year shelf life when stored properly. When making products with vegetable oils, you can also add 2% Vitamin E Oil to act as a natural preservative.
